Michael’s Midnight Matinee presents: The Black Museum starring Orson Welles – Scotland Yard opened their Black Museum in 1875 and is a collection of crime instruments and objects collected at crime scenes. This program tells the story of real crimes and the usually simple items that became objects of interest in the Black Museum. tonight’s story, A Lady’s Shoe, originally broadcast on May 27th, 1952, in which Elizabeth Marlowe marries a gent, who is soon revealed as a fortune hunter…and a murderer!

Then, in honor of the wonderful Doris Day, who we lost today at the fine age of 97, it’s The Doris Day Show from May 2, 1952 And Features Donald O’Connor and Liberace!
